Understanding what your "body smarts" are doing to make you a survivor, allows you to "work with it" instead of trying to constantly "fight" and sabotage its ingenious efforts on your behalf.Nature developed a working system over 100,000 generations to successfully get humans through the winter and famines. That well developed and tested survival system is carried forward and very well ingrained in your "body smart" system. This includes a built in natural strong attraction and undeniable insatiable desire for sweetness put into practice during the summer "high sugar” fruit and berry season.This built-in natural urge makes man and bears etc to gorge all summer almost non stop on every bit of sweets (fruits and berries) they can find. To add to this, during high sugar season, nature switches the body operating system, from running on fat to STORING FAT, and operating in high sugar season 100% on burning for current life functions only sugar. Therefore, in this operational mode, every time you are low on energy your body is desperate to restock with starch or sugar.During the high sugar season your body smart system will not allow any burning of fat, this is FAT storage season that will determine whether you will survive the famine (winter) ahead. The bear has the same programming to eat every bit of sweet available and put on fat over the summer high sugar "fat making" season. He however sleeps over the winter and slows down his metabolism to operate his body till spring on the fat stored.Man in contrast is able to find food all winter, but the small animals and other sources are no longer carrying any fat by January to March. And fat is essential for man, he can not make it over the winter on meat etc alone. Therefore, the only survivors still around to have children in the spring were those who had put on considerable body fat by fall. Therefore, your very clever "Body Smart" has been informed by your input of HIGH SUGAR and LOW FAT (animals always low fat by start of sugar season which is in summer) that this is the "high sugar" "store body fat” season. Your Body Smart system knows how to make you max out your fat storage to make you a survivor thru the coming famine. It does this by making you automatically be attracted to and desire every bit of sugar available, storing body fat and by not letting your body burn any stored body fat. In the meantime, you are battling to lose fat with every fad diet that comes along - counting calories which only works by starvation and soon as you stop starving your body, you gain it all back. But you keep trying, and never give up on trying a new diet. The real problem with the yo-yo, up and down weight loss and gain back is that you thought you were losing weight. However, on these "count calories" starvation diets, you had actually further notified your body’s smart system that the famine had already started with your low fat input and inadequate “starvation" calorie count. Therefore, your body’s smart system further clamps down on any burning of fat that is going to be needed and burns body "muscle mass".Each time you lose weight on these diets, it was only muscle mass you lost. When you gain it back after you can no longer tolerate starvation, you do not regain muscle mass unless you are doing strength training. You regain it AS BODY FAT. Your body, each time, becomes a higher and higher percentage of body fat and lower and lower percentage of muscle mass. This lower muscle mass to place high sugar surplus is the key that sets you up for almost guaranteed Irreversible DIABETES. In the meantime you are adding a few more pounds each time you gain it back and you become more desperate to lose weight, so you try something different, with an even more expensive solution that only lasts for a few months of starvation. You consider yourself a very intelligent, very concerned, strong willed (not lazy) person that is just frustrated that your body and the "bad genes" you inherited are just not cooperating, no matter how hard you try or how much you exercise down at the gym, it just does not stay off. Join it, It knows more about keeping your body in robust health then all the experts and if you keep trying to outsmart it and go counter to it, you will lose EVERY time. Worse case, it accidentally boxes you up, when you do the extreme wrong thing cross-purpose to what it is trying to do for you. Right now you have signaled HIGH SUGAR season with high sugar input and low fat.Then instead of closing it out after four months you continue HIGH SUGAR and LOW FAT year around with many times the nature’s amount of high sugar (with man made refined sugar) You keep your body on sugar operational mode and never allow your body to switch back to fat burning and you just can not understand why you have this problem. By now maybe you are starting, I hope for the first time to understand all this.If you do then you realize you need to work with your "Body Smarts" survival system, and stop trying to force it to do what you and the "experts" say you need to do. In this case, you want to convince your "Body Smarts" the “high sugar" store fat. (And no fat burning) season is over. Stop High Sugar input. Too complicated unless you just flat quit all sugar, you can play games with "how much can you get away with." For now my advice: QUIT all sugar and starch (flour) input.ADD all the fat you can eat. You will feel guilty, eating fat but do it anyway. You have to convince your body, the sugar season is over and the fall HIGH FAT season (animals are always fat in fall) has arrived. You might do this over a week or two to adjust. Normal ratio for your ancestors was 75% of your calories (energy) comes from fat, 20% protein and just 5% carbohydrates (Sugar spectrum).To get to that much fat you have to work at it. Bacon, all the fat roasts and steaks, chops etc you can eat, coconut oil, flaxseed oil, olive oil...all the nuts you can eat (no cashews or peanuts), Full fat yogurt, (18%) ease off to no dairy, as target (except cultured yogurt). Your full time "operate totally on Fat" system will be in operation in days. In a matter of days you will see changes and outside of 21 days of withdrawal (from addiction to sugar) it should not be that difficult. You will see obesity just fade away, over the next year, stop worrying about it, progression to diabetes will be brought to a screeching halt, and all sorts of ailments you thought were normal will have disappeared. Learn further to work with your Body Smart system and everything will be taken care of automatically. Stop trying to force your very intelligent Body Smart system to "do it your way". It knows how and wants to make you a survivor. The biggest hazard is you. Cooperate with its natural system and stop all the modern man inputs and hurdles you have been forcing on it. Get Informed. Here is a report on a study on the usual count calories, you have to burn exactly the calories you eat or you gain weight theory. It says: this study shows that nearly two-thirds of these "dieters" long term end up heavier...The average female dieter regains as much as 55% more weight than she initially lost...and most of these diets raises your likelihood of heart attack and stroke! My observation is that most of the overweight (this just does not seem to matter to most) just buy another book with a different system and optimistically try again..... In the meantime, the FAT business has become a major industry. Too bad we do not have something to sell. When they say yo-yo diet, it is not a reference to the quality of the diet; it just means a short term diet you can not stay on long term. You lose weight initially during the starving stage, and back up figure on your scales going up and down like a yo-yo each time you give up or can no longer stand the deprivation, your weight getting higher.Being over weight is not a natural state. Indigenous people such as the American Indians had no obesity or diabetes until forced on the "white man" "civilized diet. The Aborigines of Australia lived without either on the Australian outback for 60,000 years, and with today’s diet have an epidemic of diabetes and obesity. Tests twenty years ago showed that those involved in a study put back on their traditional diet and overcame both within 60 days. Yet, we still read "experts" saying that no one really knows what causes diabetes, obesity etc. We hope you have read up enough on both that with common sense, you can understand how and why both are epidemics (and hopefully with our explanation here) and you fix them by stopping to do what is causing them. Like early deaths from smoking, how do you fix it? You stop smoking...How do you fix this? You stop doing what is causing it... Is that complicated or what?You do not need a degree; you need common sense to fix it.... and a full quart of will power to overcome a lifetime addiction. Note: The average person fails to take responsibility and the difficult self discipline action to fix this, they want someone to tell them they can fix it if they just pay this amount of money and take these pills. This is not that kind of thing. Tip: Those of you continuing on their present course..... You might want to purchase some prepaid funeral insurance, latest statistics we read are that you are going to "beat the insurance company" and cash in on the policy 14 years early.
